That’s a wrap on Dungeon of Death!

After 4 days of shooting in our Dungeon set, that we were gracefully allowed to set up in the Hamilton Film Festival’s classroom at the Ancaster Memorial Arts Center, Dungeon of Death is officially in the can!

We couldn’t be happier with the efforts of our team and the amazing performances of our cast members. It is such a marvel seeing the characters that once existed only in your head, come to life! And the little furry ratctors we brought in were so cute! They loved crawling over the dried up corpse we had laying around, they didn’t even need steering with the Cheerios their mom wrangler brought. Most importantly, the FX all came out smoothly, and what I’ve seen of the footage so far is looking pretty spectacular. And that hasn’t even been colour corrected or anything. You guys are gonna love it.

So now we enter the stage of Post Production. This is going to be interesting for sure. We’re booked on other productions for the rest of the summer, so the plan is to use the slow season (aka. winter) for editing. Of course we can’t do everything ourselves, so we’re restarting the IndieGoGo campaign to try and get some more donations to finance post: there’s some VFX work that needs to be done (mostly flame replacements – none of the gore FX will be digitally enhanced, we promise you that) and then the sound and colouring. So please, if you haven’t donated yet – or if you have, but you have more spare money laying around – become a Gore Sponsor or a Benefactorturer or choose one of our other fun tiers! We will forever be grateful for your generosity. 💜

Update (Aug 2024): Not quite on schedule, but IT IS DONE!
